Why we built Prepare 4 Sale
Selling a home in Australia means hiring half a dozen different people — a real estate agent, a property stylist, a photographer, a building inspector, a conveyancer, a cleaner, sometimes tradies and a landscaper. Most sellers piece this together themselves, ringing strangers from Google, asking around for recommendations, and hoping the people they choose actually do a good job.
That's the problem we built Prepare 4 Sale to solve. The home sale market in Australia is enormous — but it's fragmented across 12+ services, scattered across thousands of small businesses, and almost completely opaque to first-time and one-off sellers. Sellers shouldn't have to start from zero every time.
Our mission
Connect every Australian home seller with the right people at the right time — for free, without confusion, and with real ratings to back it up.
Free for sellers, always. Real ratings from real sellers. One place to find every service that touches a home sale, organised by category and suburb. That's it. That's the whole platform.
How we ensure quality
Anyone can publish a directory. The hard part is making sure the providers in it deserve to be there. Three things that matter to us:
- Verified listings. Every provider on the platform is reviewed before approval. We check business registration, service area, and category fit before any listing goes live.
- Real reviews from real sellers. Reviews are verified before publishing. We don't allow self-reviews, incentivised reviews, or anonymous reviews from non-customers. What you see is what other Australian sellers actually said.
- Preferred status that means something. Our Preferred Members are providers who've committed to the highest service standards on the platform — verified reputation, active reviews, and quality profile. The Preferred badge isn't bought; it's earned and maintained.
What we're not
We're not a real estate agency. We don't sell homes, take commission on sales, or refer leads in exchange for kickbacks. We don't have a public phone number or email — every interaction happens through the website forms, which keeps things documented and accountable.
We're a directory. Our job is to help you find the right people and let you contact them directly. The transaction is between you and them.
